Auditions for Our Town

Announcing Roundtown Players Auditions!!!

Roundtown Players will be holding auditions for its upcoming production of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town” on Sunday, October 22nd and Monday, October 23rd between 7:00 and 9:00pm in their theater in Circleville’s Memorial Hall at 165 East Main Street. Performance dates are January 12, 13, 14, 19 and 20.

A copy of the script is available at the Info desk of the Pickaway County library.

The production will be directed by Victor Aume, with Assistant Director Justin Atkinson, Production Assistants Laura Aume and Loretta Palmer, Sound Designer Amelia Palmer, costume designer Susan Perkins. We’re very excited to be planning a handful of innovations to breathe new life into this classic of the American stage.

Actors of all skill levels and experience are welcome to audition. The roles vary from challenging for the experienced folks, to a few lines to give it a try, to stagehands who would like to participate without speaking. We anticipate that it will be a positive learning experience for us all.

You are welcome to prepare a monologue for auditions, but it is not required.

Musicians and singers that are interested in being recorded for the pre-show and intermission music are welcome to attend at the audition dates and times or contact Victor or Justin.

Auditions may be scheduled prior to October 23rd by appointment if you cannot make the scheduled audition dates.

Please contact Victor if you have any questions:
