Auditions for Our Town

Announcing Roundtown Players Auditions!!!

Roundtown Players will be holding auditions for its upcoming production of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town” on Sunday, October 22nd and Monday, October 23rd between 7:00 and 9:00pm in their theater in Circleville’s Memorial Hall at 165 East Main Street. Performance dates are January 12, 13, 14, 19 and 20.

A copy of the script is available at the Info desk of the Pickaway County library.

The production will be directed by Victor Aume, with Assistant Director Justin Atkinson, Production Assistants Laura Aume and Loretta Palmer, Sound Designer Amelia Palmer, costume designer Susan Perkins. We’re very excited to be planning a handful of innovations to breathe new life into this classic of the American stage.

Actors of all skill levels and experience are welcome to audition. The roles vary from challenging for the experienced folks, to a few lines to give it a try, to stagehands who would like to participate without speaking. We anticipate that it will be a positive learning experience for us all.

You are welcome to prepare a monologue for auditions, but it is not required.

Musicians and singers that are interested in being recorded for the pre-show and intermission music are welcome to attend at the audition dates and times or contact Victor or Justin.

Auditions may be scheduled prior to October 23rd by appointment if you cannot make the scheduled audition dates.

Guys And Dolls Kicks Off 50th Anniversary Season!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Guys and Dolls!  This audience-chosen show captured the attention of the entire community, and the cast performed to several packed houses throughout the run.  It was a wonderful beginning to what is sure to be an exciting season of revivals here at RTP!

Absentee Ballot

Annual Awards Gala

Help  celebrate the end to our amazing 2016-2017 season and our upcoming 50th Anniversary season by attending our annual awards gala! There will be a few reprisal performances, as well as the presentation of audience appreciation awards for each show. You may even get a sneak peak at some of the shows in our upcoming 2017-2018 season!

The event will also act as our annual board meeting, where we will vote on important changes to our organization, as well as elect board members for the next term. All supporters of RTP are invited to participate, whether you’ve performed, helped backstage or enjoyed a show from the audience.
